This Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet in color and is perfumed with aromas of chocolate covered cherries and plums. Underlying hints of vanilla and lavender add to the intrigue of the wine.
Upon entry, the wine is soft and creamy with loads of black cherry that fill the mouth. This is a well structured wine with a vibrancy that carries forth the fruit flavors. Hints of vanilla and coffee beans cap off the long finish to make this wine complete.

2007 Sauvignon Blanc "Sesquipedalian"
The 2007 Sesquepedalian Sauvignon Blanc is a lively and refreshing wine that exemplifies the best varietal character from these Mendocino grapes. The grapes were harvested in the cool, early morning and gently pressed. The juice was fermented cold in tank for over three weeks then transferred with lees to small neutral barrels.
The aroma is inviting with a medley of melon, green apples and stone fruits. The lees contact over six months of elevage lends a creamy mouthfeel. Not having undergone malolactic fermentation the wine retains a citrus core of lime and tangerine flavors not unlike candied lemon drops.

Otter's Road Trip Red
This latest release of Otter's Road Trip Red is as interesting, unorthodox and fun-loving as the name itself. The base of the blend is comprised of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon. The remaining20% is Syrah. The Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the Anderson family estate ranch. This steeply terraced vineyard provides plenty of sun exposure and stress on the vines to create such a concentrated and easy drinking wine. The inviting aroma is spicy with notes of clove, cinnamon and cedar. Added to that are intense aromas of toffee and caramelized sugar. The wine is soft with velvety tannin. Cherry cordials with cinnamon sticks permeate the palate ending with a sweet, caramel finish. This easy drinking quaffer will impress the connoisseur and the novice alike.
